You will be greeted by our friendly front desk staff when you come to your first appointment. If you have dental insurance, please bring your insurance card and a government-issued ID.

Your first appointment will last approximately one hour. Dr. Sherman and a dental hygienist will thoroughly clean and evaluate your teeth and gums, take routine digital X‑rays, and screen for oral cancer. Then, Dr. Sherman will discuss any issues with you and propose treatment, if necessary. He will also set aside time to answer any of your questions. We strongly believe that good dental care starts with open communication.
